Scarecrow was faintly confused, but he did not say it out loud. His head faintly rotated a bit, the bulk of his nose angling so that the sun glinted off of the white part of his muzzle. His pink lips were quirked in a thinking motion as his bright eyes scanned her. He was curious of her himself, but he was far too shy to ask her what her name was and where she came from. She was to the point but the playful glint in her eye had him smiling after the thinking turn of his lips left his face. He was enjoying having a conversation and it showed as he let his body relax against the ground.
Hearing her call him Circus had a chuckle leaving his lips. His dark ears slowly perked up at her voice before he shook his head. “My name is Scarecrow as I seem to have forgotten to say my name.” She could call him Circus though. The stallion would be far from bothered if she wished to call him that over his own name. Scarecrow had been called many things by the humans and he would let her add another to the list if she so really wanted.
“I was hoping to meet others with my call.” His voice was kind and his eyes faintly bright as he dipped his head and nodded towards her. “You came to the call after all.” He gave her a smile then, his tail lashing against his hocks. He was thankful for her having come to his call and easing the pain of his heart. “I have spent far too many seasons alone and I wished to not be alone anymore.” Behind him, his trail of daily usage was plain as day to see. He had stuck close to the trees, but the flattened grass turned dirt spoke of just how long he had been roaming the Meadow alone.
