For you, my little lamb.

Lionheart rose from his bow, his bleeding body still holding itself with the bit of pride he had left. His bright eyes scanned Helios before he dipped the large frame of it. His chestnut body shifted before he let his body fully stand tall, the mammoth of his stature fully at its peak in size with how he held himself. The stallion looked at Helios then, his eyes taking in literally everything that he saw of the lead. Lionheart was larger, but that did not mean a single strand of anything when it came to strength of the heart or mind.

“I would humbly take your third Helios. I will heal in time, but I am not on death's door.” Helios had offered two things, but Lionheart wanted to be in control of his own space. He might live under Helios, but he wanted the chance to prove himself. He was strong even though he was kind. He had power even though he had a level hand. The stallion would do well even as a lead, but he did not want that kind of power. Lionheart wanted to protect his family and his friends and a third stallion to Helios would give him that. He had heard stories of seconds and thirds patrolling even the main territory, making sure everything was safe. He wanted to be like them, make sure that everything was safe and easier on the lead.
