VOICE OF THE PEOPLE.

After her scream, the pale mare hit the ground. Her long mane and tail were locked in the low hanging branches of a jungle tree and her scalp screamed as her body lashed out with all four legs. The black stallion had hit her and he had hit her hard. The mare had hit a tree, not expecting to be body slammed by the shire stallion that was here for her blood. The crimson eyes of his head gleamed with a murderous rage and it had another scream bubbling from her lips as his head lowered and teeth latched onto the soft flesh of her chest.


Kicking out with a front leg, Snapdragon tried to kick him away when one of her herd members came in a flurry of lying hooves and angry teeth. Her body trembled seeing the battle go on, but Snapdragon got herself to stand, her hair breaking off in chunks as she pulled against the tight hold the tree had on them. White and brown strands would be stuck here for a long time, the birds most likely using them for nests when it came to that time of year for them. SHe would love to see the nests, but she would fear the ones that had her hair for the coming years.


Watching Carthage and Lucifer go at it, Snapdragon went to get herself into the fight when Lucifer moved away from Carthage and set his red gaze upon her. “You harbor my mother.” He hissed, his deep voice echoing through the dense forest before he came for Snapdragon again. It did not matter that Carthage was here, it seemed for Lucifer was dead set upon SNapdragon and taking her life from her shoulders.


Not smart enough to run but too afraid to fight, Snapdragon fell into a pit of shock and fear as the black stallion once again rammed her, his teeth now coming to latch onto her neck with how much shorter she was. CLosing her eyes, Snapdragon leaned into the teeth before jerking back, his grip having slackened with the added force of her body. She managed to free herself, but as she stumbled and looked up, she saw Lucifer rearing over her body and her eyes shot to Carthage, a grey beast coming up behind him with an angry bellow.
