As I type these words, my heart is filled with many emotions. This month will mark the end of an incredible chapter in my life, one that has been defined by the privilege of serving as your news anchor in this remarkable city for the past three and a half years.
Kansas City, you've been more than just a location on the map; you've been a community that welcomed me with open arms.
From the vibrant neighborhoods to the resilient spirit that defines you, I have been fortunate to witness and report on the
stories that make this city so special.
This decision to step away weighed heavily on my heart, but it's necessary from my continued well-being, healing and my family. So, March 13th will be my last day on air at FOX4 News Kansas City.
I've been so blessed to make so many memories, so from now until my last day, I will share those memories, because it's not goodbye it's see you later. Gosh, a lot has happened, let's see if I can get through this without crying.
