This is my resurrection

Zurok's heart was heavy with guilt as he looked at Margarita. "I know you wouldn't leave me, my love. I just meant I wouldn't have blamed you if you had," he confessed, his voice filled with remorse. He tried to offer her a gentle smile, hoping to reassure her as he leaned in closer to her side. "No, Yael had nothing to do with this. It was my own foolish mistake. I thought one of my half-siblings was nearby, and I walked right into an ambush."

Despite his best efforts, Zurok struggled to regain his balance, leaning heavily on Margarita for support. The sable stallion felt overwhelmed by gratitude for her unwavering loyalty and love. "Thank you for always being there for me, even when I don't deserve it. I hope you can forgive me for my recklessness," he murmured, his voice filled with regret.

As he reflected on his recent actions, Zurok realized how he had allowed himself to be distracted by Yael, neglecting the one closest to him. "I think it's time that I focus on our little family for a while, don't you think?" he suggested, nuzzling against Margarita's neck affectionately. The gentle breeze played with their manes.

Zurok's mind was troubled by that events of the day, replaying the ambush over and over again. As he leaned closer to Margarita, seeking solace in her comforting presence, Zurok realized just how much she meant to him. She was his rock, his anchor in times of turmoil. "I promise to do better, my love. I won't let anything come between us again," He whispered softly as he stood there soaking up this moment.
