I'm sure you've all seen the recent article that says Overland Park is the 2nd Happiest City in the US.

I'm sure you ALSO know that one of the things that attracts people – rich/poor, young/old, black/white - to ANY metro is professional sports teams. Of course, I’m talking about the Chiefs and the Royals, for Kansas City.
Having those two teams in our greater metro is part of what helps Overland Park rank as the second happiest city in America. Businesses, real estate agents, retailers and everybody in our greater KC metro has got to help convince Jackson County voters to renew the sales tax that helps keep those two teams in KC.
C'mon, JoCo residents: YOU have got to help us convince Jackson County voters to keep the JACKSON County sales tax that will keep our pro sports teams in KC. Otherwise, Overland Park will be another Wichita or St Joseph.
