Growing up he watched his father's charm and his mother's dotting touch. They both were strong figures that showed their power to treating others with respect. Nico always wished to do the same, but he was also learning temptation was a thing. The inspiration to take this mare had been swift and instant. Not much thought had gone into the decision other than he wanted her here. Now it was his duty to convince her why she should stay.

Nico studies the face of the golden mare. He couldn't quite read the various emotions in her eyes, but he was glad to see her engaging. That was something! "Pyre..." He repeats her name softly to commit it to memory. Not that he would likely forget the second mare he has brought here. She follows by saying her parent's names and where she was originally from. Salem...so he was right in thinking her body type didn't match those around these parts.

It was the way she introduced her heritage that intrigues him. He grins, but does not comment on that just yet. Pyre asks about his deal so he nods. "The deal is this," He begins by clearing his throat dramatically. "We have a month to get to know each other before someone else can swoop in to steal you or your old boo tries to take you back to Atlantis." He stirs a bit curious what she liked about that pale stallion in Paradise.

"If you find I am not someone you see yourself with then you will be free to go. Back to Atlantis or even back to Salem if you wish." He smiles. "But I ask for the chance to get to know who Pyre is first." Nico stands tall waiting to here what she thinks of this deal. Also wondering if he will be able to control himself and stay the polite gentlemen in the heat of fall. "If by some chance you find you do like me. Then make the Inlet your new home."
