Re(5): HAY DROPS ....

I remember the initial hay drops where the incessant dust particulates were a problem. There was even an ingenious plastic bulkhead in an effort to prevent the dust from getting into electronics and up to the flight station. Even hydraulic reservoir filters that vented to the cabin became clogged leading to strange hydraulic indications when a demand was put on a system. I think we either removed the filter elements or / and stuck a stocking over the vent line(?). Related and perhaps not was when a participating airframe went for deeper level maintenance and cargo floor was lifted all the seeds that made their way underneath had germinated providing a very good yeild!!!!
