She was not usually up much past the onset of darkness, but lately she has been unable to sleep on time. It took hours of trying to finally fall asleep so she decided it as time she see what the rest of the herd did this time of night instead. She has spent enough time to herself raising Warg and only speaking with Helios. It was not like her to not have friends in a herd or take this long to meet them. Then again, it has been a long time since she has been in a family unit again. Perhaps this is the reason she wakes still tired.

A soft smile stays pasted to her lips as she watches the dark faced mare. Her small ears perk forward as the taller mare speaks. Though she is surprised at the tone of her voice, Vana would never make fun of another horse for anything so she does her best to hide the surprise on her face. It wouldn’t be a good look to get in trouble with the first member she spoke with. The mare confirms she was another of Helios’s to which Vana nods. It was nice to know Helios was doing well growing his herd since claiming the Dunes. He was so kind he deserved it. Vana felt she could never truly repay him or all he has done for her and Warg.

She then asks if Vana had come to explore with her. ”I’d love to,” she answers with a smile. Though Vana has already explored the Dunes in the months she has lived here it would be nice to do so with a travel partner. Besides, she wasn’t about to give the mare anymore more to worry about as it seems she already has some worry. One thing Vana was good with was taking note of what others were feeling. Though the stranger didn’t voice it, Vana could see that certain look in her eye,

The petite mare knew it well for feeling it herself before coming to the Dunes. Helios has helped alleviate some of that problem. ”Where to? I’m following you.” Vana smiles realizing she did not yet know her name. Perhaps she would learn it on their little journey.
