Snapdragon Mare | 15.2hhs | Dunskin Pintaloosa | Crown of Paradise
VOICE OF THE PEOPLE.
Softly flicking pale ears forward, a light colored mare stood at the banks of her home. Jungle vines and tropical animals hid for the winter, the cold season having taken control of all the islands but not making this place fall into snow like the rest. The cool temperatures had the pale mare smiling towards the sky, the air taking a hit of a bite with the cold water of the ocean splashing against her chest and coating her front in its salty liquid. She was basking in the cold water, her muscles aching from the amount of pacing she had done earlier in the morning.
Slowly opening her blue eyes, Snapdragon eyed the rising waves that tested the island she called home. Her sides were starting to swell with fall having left and winter taking the islands as if it was the captain and the horses were the mates under it. She would never understand how the weather worked, but the mare would always enjoy the change from warm to cool when her body acted like a furnace, keeping her and a growing thing inside of her warm. She had not expected to be with foal so early, but here she was and she could never be more thankful for the stallion Finley and what he meant to her.
Turning to face her home, Snapdragon eyed the dense jungle of Paradise. She was the crown of this place, but something in her gut had her eyeing the distant territories with a questioning gaze. She had left a certain mare in the Bay, gained Eeva back, but there was still something missing in her heart. Snapdragon wanted her family, but she would never outright speak of missing Vadim other than the crying sound she let out over the ocean in her silent morning. She was lost, needing guidance. However, she could not take the dangers of going to the Ridge at this current moment and was forced to just survive with her gut and whatever else the members of this territory brought her way.
