Down on her knees in a bow, Amarinora gave a shaky breath, her eyes closing as tears fell down her face. She went from super excited to overly emotional in the space of a second once her body was down. She was home, in the place she belonged as she rested there before God and everyone on her knees. Bacardi had never taught her this or anyone else, but something about the instinctive movement took hold of her the moment she arrived here. She had once seen Voyager do it, but she never understood the meaning behind it until this moment. It let her be free, her body leaving all the strength it once had in a calm place as she laid herself vulnerable to the one stallion she could confidently and wholeheartedly say deserved it.


Hearing the stallion's voice, she slowly rose up, but her head still hung as she pinched her eyes shut trying to hide the tears in them and upon her cheeks. They were tears of joy, but also relief as she stood before her dad and let his calming presence envelope her in this moment. “I have come to ask if I can return home.” She wanted to be here, with these horses. The Shore was growing, yes, but her sire had to handle things on his own. He might not like her leaving him and their home for the Forest, but the red dun of the Shore would never say anything to Bacardi about it. Amarinora was not sure how Bacardi got Nahawi to be who he is now, but she would forever be thankful for the horse before her became her dad.


Lifting her head and opening her eyes, Amarinora gave a faint sob that choked out on a cough and shook her head. “I wanna come home…” That sentence had her legs shaking, but she wasn't scared. She was finally letting herself feel the emotions she had been locking away while living on the Shore.
