As the Scripps stock price hit a 52-week low, more Scripps employees were laid off, and things are just not going well, Scripps CEO Adam Symson sent this note to the staff.
A Scripps employee calls the email "tone-deaf," and I can't say that I don't disagree.
"As we all wait for potential layoffs, I really don’t care about how a millionaire is feeling about his daughter leaving the nest," the Scripps staffer said to FTVLive.
You do have to wonder about the Scripps employee whose daughter is graduating high school, and their parent was laid off from the company.
I'm fairly certain, that person doesn't care about Adam Symson's "upheaval at home."
