The First Warn 5 Weather Show will debut tonight at 6:30 p.m. It's a live, newscast-style show focused primarily on forecasting and the biggest weather headlines of the day.
“Our commitment to weather has never been stronger,” said KCTV5 News Kansas City News Director Josh Morgan. “There is only one story each day that we know impacts every viewer who tunes in, so we have created a program tailor-made to tell that story in the most meaningful way possible.”
The First Warn 5 Weather Show will become the only show in Kansas City dedicated primarily to weather. It will be led by First Warn 5 Chief Meteorologist Luke Dorris, with daily contributions from the four other members of the First Warn 5 Weather team.
“Kansas City is truly a special place for weather, unlike nearly any other place in the world,” said First Warn 5 Chief Meteorologist Luke Dorris. “We are tremendously excited to serve our viewers with a weather show that gives them a forecast for their hometown, shares the fascinating science behind the storms, and is just exciting to watch.” Replies: There have been no replies.
