I have just became aware of the passing of Bernie Desmond. I do not have any details except that he passed early May. Bernie, due to his age and medical problems has been in poor health the last couple of years. He was my instructor at AMTF, AMTDU, in the early 60,s. He served in Saigon after AMTDU , about 66/67 and had a near miss with an explosion by courtesy of the VC.RIP Bernie. Replies:
