Lance, thanks for the initial advice, and subsequent update on Bob's condition. Your compassion shown in this forum is amazing, and very moving, which was also shown recently with the passing of Bernie Desmond, and your communication with his widow, Avril.
This forum is unique in the fact that it was designed, and is maintained solely by you, specifically for the ongoing benefit and morale of Airman Aircrew and associates.
A lot has been said recently, including a Royal Commission, about the separation anxiety that members of the ADF have experienced, and the tragic circumstances, where emotions have been such, that people have felt so pointless and worthless as to take their own lives. We will never know how many members here have benefited, by contacting past friends through this group, who would otherwise have been lost. I am sure that there are many.
Thanks for your efforts Lance and, as the old saying goes: 'You deserve a bloody medal'.
