champagne and sunshine Posted on June 12, 2024 at 10:46:09 PM by Reign
The dark champagne male hardly had any time to adjust to the newest arrival to the Falls before she had come right up to him. Her nose had darted bravely -- or at least he thought she was brave -- into his own personal space to touch his. The energy simply radiated off of her, not that the smile wide on her maw didn't give it away. Even her voice, louder than most things in his immediate vicinity, was unrestrained. It was infectious.
A surprised look shifted into one of apprehensive, but uplifted welcome. Her words came quickly. Reign had a difficult time keeping up. He caught her name at least: Parisa. It was pretty, as pretty as she was. Nervously, the champagne smiled back. His own words did not tumble from his mouth, but the young male was happy enough to go along with her. Perhaps she wouldn't notice his awkwardness or rusty social skills if he tried to keep up.
"I'm Reign, and no," he admitted. "It's not my first time here. What do you think of it?" The smile remained, as did his nerves. He wasn't used to talking to other horses. Reign had mostly kept to himself the whole time he'd been wandering alone. The hope settled in his chest that this would go well, that he wouldn't muck whatever this was up.
