Renvari
The stallion who presses easily through the jungle’s grip to join Renvari at the summit is not one he recognizes, but their status as strangers is extremely short-lived. He glances over Renvari and introduces himself as Wolf, a name the painted stallion does recognize, somewhat. His ears tick forward with interest, and he takes his own turn to look over the other male.
While Renvari might share some physical similarities with Faolain — a long back and slender head with sharp features — this man does not. They both have draft influences that pull them away from the Akhal Teke mare’s resemblance, but Renvari would never have guessed that Wolf had desert blood had he not already known of his half-brother.
"Yes," he says thoughtfully in answer to Wolf’s question. They are neither one of them men of many words, and Renvari allows the affirmation to hang in the air for a while as he considers. He can sense Wolf’s intelligence, but wonders if he knows who he is. Faolain hadn’t exactly told Renvari about any of his siblings; he had been there for the birth of the last two, and Faolain had once called him Wolf during a particularly bad fugue state toward the end. He had puzzled most of the rest together himself, and fit the last little pieces in just now, coming face to face with the true owner of the name. Because of this, he has serious doubts that Faolain would have detailed the elder brother about the younger one’s existence.
"I’m Renvari," he continues, his head tilting curiously as he weighs his options. He decides swiftly that being direct is the right path. It’s likely what Tyr would do, and definitely what Faolain would have done, if she had deigned to participate in the conversation at all. "Son of Tyr and Faolain. I’m your half brother." It’s almost a question, but not quite; he’s confident in his knowledge, but not to the point of arrogance. The statement has enough of a curve at the end for Wolf to pick it up, toss it back and correct him, if he’s wrong.
