ooking at Calder, Hush took in his frame. He was soaking wet, just like her, and it had a grin stretching across her face. He was not trying to escape the rain like many others and it warmed her heart a bit. To be able to stand in the rain and just enjoy the cool droplets upon her skin was Hush’s favorite thing in the world. It made things so much better to just clean her frame and not have to worry about what someone would say. With all of her hair and such, Hush looked like a drowned rat in the rain, but so far Calder had not even hinted at that and she was thankful.

Nodding her head as he spoke, the black and white mare thought it over for a moment before her shoulders rose up and down in a shrug. “If you would like me to join your herd Calder, you can just say so.” They were complete strangers, but Hush held no ill will in her blood and saw no issue with joining a herd as it was. Many horses did this and rarely were out there going on dates and such to build that bond. She herself had never seen it, but she did wonder if that happened out in this wild place.

Tilting her head though, the dark mare let her amber eyes scan his frame just a touch more before her head lifted to the sky. “Does the Ridge get rain like this though?” She had never been to a tropical climate and if she was to miss out on this rain, she might grow bitter. Her heart was much like the sky and when it rained, she could feel it calming to her body. When it was too dry for too long, she began to feel herself wither away. Mush like the rain, Hush was always searching for a way to let everything out all at once, but she never was really aggressive unless something broke.
