Though many of you abstained from voting, that has not stopped me from becoming your new Prime Minister. I hope to lead you well. Know that in my new role, I intend to make some changes. It is time for the Peak to move in a new direction and shed the outdated perception that we are just a place for weak, scared or spinsterly mares to take refuge. We are more than that, and I intend to make the whole of the Islands know it.

No meaningful change can be made on one's own, however. It will take a collective effort to enact this vision, and I will be expecting nothing but the best from you all. Know that there is no place for complacency in the Peak anymore. Queen or commoner, politician or warrior, we all have a role to play here. We will build the Peak until our numbers rival the Lagoon's and no one on the Islands dares to cross us.

That said, I am enacting a new decree which all Peak sisters should strive to follow. Each member of the Peak should aim to add one new member to our ranks, or free a trinket from the Lagoon, at least twice per year*. Members who fail to uphold these responsibilities may be at risk of demotion to Trinket status. They will not be traded away, but they will not enjoy the freedoms of a full member until such a time they prove they can maintain their duties.

Lastly, there are new opportunities available for those who wish to help the Peak but cannot ignore the irresistible call of adventure. I would see envoys deployed to each Island to assess the status of the herds there and report back to myself, Ashteroth, and Serenity so we may be informed of any captives that need rescuing or any interested new recruits.
