It is better to stand and fight.
If you run, you will only die tired.
At the verdant edge of the murmuring ocean, the Paradise King stood quietly. His singular ear twitched attentively, while icy azure eyes perused the vibrant tapestry of his jungle haven. Amidst the emerald foliage, vibrant macaws echoed through the treetops, and lithe lemurs danced among the vines. A gentle smile adorned the King's whiskered visage, reflecting a profound fondness with his verdant kingdom of Atlantis.
As the sun dipped towards the horizon, the sky erupted in a fiery display of orange and pink hues. The jungle, bathed in this ethereal light, seemed to burn with a silent intensity. He watched, mesmerized, until the final sliver of the sun disappeared beneath the ocean, leaving behind a soft glow that painted the world in shades of twilight. With a silent acknowledgement of the day's passage, he turned and walked towards the crashing waves. His gaze, cool and distant, was fixed on a waterfall that cascaded into a tranquil pool before merging with the surging sea.
The relentless roar of the waterfall pulsed through him as he reached the cool pool's edge. Hesitantly, he lowered himself into the refreshing water, its touch tingling as it climbed past his knees and touched his belly. A sigh of contentment escaped him as he stepped under the cascading water, the invigorating spray washing away the sweat and salt of the day. He stood blissfully beneath the cleansing waterfall, until the chill finally reached his core. Emerging from the water, rivulets ran down his sides, washing away not only the salt, but the stress that had clung to him like a shadow.
The crown bestowed upon him both privilege and burden. He reveled in the unfettered freedom, the absolute control, and the intoxicating power it afforded. Yet, the weight of responsibility pressed heavily, particularly now, as the season continued. With it came the insidious fear of those who would seek to exploit his success, their eyes fixed on his growing harem.
