The lagoon boss does not like anything meek, or weak, and Druna has no shortage of fire. If not for the unwanted company, he might have even played with her anger. To feel her teeth on his flesh, and her rage batter against his skin. Instead, the apology Nahawi gives is almost enough to send him into a rage instead. As if the red dun had any right? His overbearing hero complex was nauseating, and it made him question how he could have ever been lead over a bunch of rank bachelors.

“Please, as if I would be so thoughtless.” he scoffed. “I simply pulled the wool over those snotty mares eyes. If I had told you my plan, you wouldn’t have been near as convincing.” Garmr said to Druna. “I would never trade you, Druna. That was simply what those Peak mares had to believe.” Garmr was not used to explaining himself, but somehow, he found himself doing so for the pretty painted mare. Though he doubted it would douse her fiery anger any time soon. “I promise it won’t happen again.”
If one thing stood true about Garmr, he always kept his promises. And although he hadn’t collected on his promise to Nahawi yet, the Lagoon Boss had not forgotten.
