(ooc: I know this thread is technically in-game like two or three years old by now LOL but I always intended to reply – don’t feel as if you have to reply and keep this old thread going BUT if you wanted to, the option is there!)

Well, he wasn’t injured, but before Peyote could further wonder why he laid in the waters the graying red asked a question. Come to steal me away to the Lagoon? Peyote blew a hard breath out of his nose and glanced briefly down his front, aware of how he wore the Lagoon like a second skin, comfortably, and then back at the young stallion in the water. It hadn’t been his first thought when he saw this horse unoccupied but, always one to seize on an advantageous situation, he took little time in answering. “Yes.” He said, simply, and shifted his weight as he took another step or two back, offering the stallion the space to rise to his feet without the pair of them bumping into one another.

“Need encouragement?” Peyote asked in that small way of talking he had, letting the question hang on the air as he tilted his head and peered curiously down with his sharp blue gaze. As much as he didn’t personally feel the need to act aggressively at the moment in order to drive this stallion back to the Lagoon, Peyote certainly had the capability to do so if needed. Today’s excursion from the Lagoon had apparently been a successful one, and quite quickly too; Garmr would be pleased at their increasing numbers.

Peyote was sure, in time, whatever ailed the stallion before him would no longer matter. He would come to love the Lagoon just as Peyote did; he would come to understand the benefit of living in such a freeing place.
