He had to keep moving.

Fall was reaching its close so he felt it was safe enough to leave the Inlet with the other stallions to gaurd. Icewine had proposed an idea, brought a member of the Lagoon to his home, and he wasn't sure what to do with it. Icewine has never caused him any trouble before and he claims to trust this stallion. Nico wasn't sure he would extend the same trust after the many attacks his sister has endured because of the Lagoon stallions. They have even tried to take his own lead mare and before that, his neice.

The more he thought about it the more he became weary of leaving. This would be a short trip to scout of new members and nothing more. He couldn't get himself wrapped up in another romance that led his attention away from home for too long. Hopefully any mare he did come across would be inclined to come see him at the Inlet or just take his invitation to join him altogether. Nico knew as good as any that nothing can easily. Tending to a herd was hard work.

The calico stallion reaches the common island with ease just as he had numerious times before. This time he was not taking a break before heading to Salem to visit Isagol. This time he would be seeking out members here much like he had failed to do weeks prior. One could only get so lucky and he was lucky enough to have found the lovely mares he did have in his care. Aside from Rhoxane of course. Unlike Pyre he had a feeling she was not going to stick around. It was the gamble he took by taking her.

Blue eyes rise with his skull as he step out into the meadow. His gaze immediately finds her wandering alone in the sunlight. He sends a soft nicker to her before approaching closer. "Hello," He begins as he admires the contrast her dark has against the orange and reds of the leaves around her. "I hope I'm not interrupting your walk." A smile forms on his lips as blue eyes dance down her silver strands. "Care for a walking partner?" He asks curiously.
