It is not often that Rehoboam finds himself in a position to watch two powerful mares clash with each other. He's been at the receiving end of a woman's wrath more often than he could count (most of which had been deserved), and he finds it interesting to see the different dynamics at play. Not interesting enough to forget who or where he is, but enough to let a flicker of appreciation appear in his warm brown eyes. Reh has always found himself drawn to the sort of mares that are not afraid of him. The sort that would be fine, even if he found himself succumbing to the same sort of gray morality he had existed in during his early Lagoon days.
Arsinoe lays her cards on the table, but he does not know her well enough to know if she is hiding any more in her hand. On the surface, she seems firm but willing to compromise, which is more than he could really hope for from a Commons claim. He isn't sure what to make of the way that she looks at Titania, whether her invitation was out of politeness or genuine interest, and it leaves him uncertain of how to proceed. Especially when Titania is not much easier for him to read, despite his constant attempts to learn her language. They always seemed so close to getting it, to reaching some sort of understanding, but their pride or doubts or reservations always nudged them just out of alignment.
"I will go," he says, although saying it made his heartrate accelerate with panic at the thought of Titania and Theseus not accompanying him.
"And I will do what I can to help from there," he said as he turned to Tiania, acknowledging the quest they'd be on since the beginning. Turning back to Arsinoe, Rehoboam tried for more clarification as he doubted Titania would agree to being caged in any capacity.
"Would you allow them free travel to and from the Badlands?"
