This essentially means that it is acceptable to use these pages to seek sponsorship for The Fusiliers Aid Society (which includes Fallen Fusiliers), and The Fusilier Memorial fund only. We now have our own dedicated justgiving site (http://www.justgiving.com/fusiliersaidsociety), which you can use to help raise money for your cause. Very interesting, and you have loads more to tell?
well I suggest you do, via a google doc account
you can piece your stories together ,in your own time
page after page, if you have a google account ?
Anyway Pets yes I had a few ,well greyhounds we had two and raced them at Bolton,Oldham,and St Helens(they were not registered by what they call the NGRA national Greyhound racing ass.
Flapping tracks!!,great fun, Sometimes profitable
To keep a greyhound fit you have to walk them miles.
I did that that many miles with them I was fitter than the greyhounds ,The lads in the pub all gave us the pot to back the dogs
The Bookies were on to it all, and the best odds you could get being 2-1
So not so profitable, however on one occasion
At Bolton the white hot favourite leading from the front
ran wide at the last bend taking with him the next 2 dogs, leaving ours to romp home
a good night was had by all
