The lavender-painted mare was furious. Why it was that she continued to find herself victim again and again to the suave words and manipulative smile of the silver-haired lagoon stallion is beyond her understanding but to be perfectly honest, she was NOT thinking clearly. At least not now.

Frustration and anger took over her emotions, causing any caution that she might once have had about the lands run by bandless stallions to the wind. Garmr was from here and he was alright so maybe father and mother simply didn’t know as much about the Lagoon as she had once thought. When Garmr did not bother to come after her again, Druna felt that hurt once more renewed. How dare he! How dare he play the fact he traded her off to the Peak mares as a misunderstanding and then merely turn his back on her and walk away from her when their paths crossed yet again. How dare he cause her to second-guess herself again! This time, well this time she would not let him get away with it nor would she allow some stories from her fillyhood about the ‘big bad lagoon stallions that snatch children in the night’ keep her from tracking him down and confronting him once and for all.

Any sense of reserve disappears as the lavender and white mare crosses the border of the commons and into the lagoon without a second thought. Raven-tipped ears lace tightly against the arching crown of her neck, pressing the silvery white tresses of her mane against her sleek serpentine. ”Garmr!!?!?!” she snarls, reveling in how her voice carried through the trees. She pauses now, listening for the telltale rustling of dead leaves or the crunch of twigs beneath hooves. Paper-thin nostrils flare as the exotic woman lifts her proud head, her silver-blue eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of movement or perhaps even a flash of chocolate flesh. ”Come on out Garmr. I know you’re here somewhere!” she finishes, her long, alabaster tail ending the words with an audible snap. Impatience etches itself into her slender frame, her skin shuddering and forelimbs dancing beneath her. When she finally got ahold of him he would do much more than grovel for her forgiveness this time.
