Geoff I.m thinking a Scale 1"to 48" = 8000 feet = approx 16 or 20 inches Model of Jebel Ahkadar Oman (Green Mountain with Plateu on top where the Oman Rebel Army Encampment was)
There's a Guy on the Internet who has Cliffs already made for this,his Scale is 1"to 48" then you painting & adding Foilage & a Cave which hid the Rebels Armies Heavy Machine Gun Nest at 7000ft (they had to Take it out on the Way Up)This would be 2.45 inches from the Top of a 17inch 1" to 48" Model Clift.
The Kit that Biffo' + his Troop of 5 = (Biffo & 4 SNCOs) of D'Sqn carried up was 4 � Brownongs + Spare Barrels + 10000 Rounds of 20mm Cal Ammo + 2 inch Mortars + HE + Flares + Smoke Mortars *303 Rifles & AMMO + Flares + Pistols + Ammo +A40 Radios + Batteries + Mills Compass + Jery Cans of Watter for Cooling the Barrels Binos etc;The list goes on and on but Photos would suffice'with the Standard Weight of
each piece of Equipment that each Carried up the 8000ft Cliff & then Called the Oman Rebbel Armies Bluff to which they Surrendered & were Disbanded.
