Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

all i ever wanted was the world

Any hope the tobiano had of remaining unrecognized died as the words dripped from the painted man's mouth. Every syllable was a taunt. It cowed the mare into compliance to realize she was in his clutches at a time where there was no one to fight for her. No one would come to her defense. Diomedes was dead. Dior was miles away; not that the untried two year-old maiden would provide any substantial aid. And Versace... the filly had spirit, but that wouldn't have done much against someone like this stallion before her.

Vogue flinched as his body to near hers, but she did not move away. What point would there be to try and stop him? She wanted to run, to escape, but the paint mare felt it futile. There was nowhere to run to, except back to the graciousness of Vulcan. Even then, it wasn't like the sooty bay male would come looking for her. He'd merely agreed with Diomedes to house them, and Vogue it only a small stroke of luck that Vulcan hadn't gone back on the deal with Dio died.

Vogue lowered her head slightly, but it would be admission enough to the stallion that the fight was won and she had given up. She hated to show him any sort of weakness; it burned her up somewhere deep inside to think he would be enjoying this. Exhaustion from the run and from the last year had caught up with her, forcing her acceptance. He would be able to hear the defeat in her voice as she uttered, "Please.. just find my daughter."
