Rules � The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. � Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. � All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. � Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. � You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. � Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

We seem to let the night descend upon us then in the dark beneath the willow just inside the Lagoon. The heat of Cas' body warms me and gives me deep comfort. I, too, could see the fireflies through the spaces in the cascading foliage.

Then my thoughts turned to the rest of this place: the Lagoon. Before the issues with Garmr had begun, I knew nothing about this place, and I suspected I still had much more to learn than what Castillon had told me over itime. Hearing about a place surely did not provide a sufficient account of what it meant to stay there for a potentially long period of time.

It seemed we had similar trains of thought, my love and I. As always, he voices something in himself that echoes to something in me. I sigh then: an expression of contentedness. "It would be hard not to wonder about, considering how often it's come up for us," I muse. "I suppose we'll get to find out together, won't we?" Leaning into his warmth again, I watch the bugs outside flicker to and fro.
