Standing there with his body steady against her own, Lucifer watched the emotions shift from one to the next on her face. His head tilted as he tried to understand them all, but his main go to was anger and then the need to posses. His heart had no room for anything else but what it had and the major thing it held was
her. Of course he had Tefnut back home, but he had stared in the distance for a while before leaving his home and coming for Rieva, the mare he couldn't seem to forget no matter how much he had tried.
Hearing her no as she flattened herself against him, Lucifer pinned his ears and powers his head with teeth bared. An oddly gentle nip was all he gave her, but the meaning behind it was there. He held no time to wait for her to say yes and as he was getting ready to grip her mane another word left her lips. Hearing the fine she spoke, his head dipped faintly as he let a red eye peer into one of her own.
“I won't let you drown my dear pet.” He whispered. It wasn't meant to be a term of bad nature, but all the same pet never really went well even if he didn't know that.
“Come child.” Lucifer spoke to the colt before he slowly moved forward, hoping Rieva would lean on him as needed.
“I will need you both to lean on me for now. The swim was easy getting here but it might not be the same on this trip back.” After his words, the stallion let his head lower before he lipped at Rieva's mane.
“Nothing bad will happen.”
