Looking at Calder, Lucifer tilted his head to the side for a moment as he pondered the question. Lucifer honestly did not have a real answer to that question, but the black brute did shrug his shoulders a bit before a breath escaped his lips. The dangerous glint to his eyes faintly ebbed before he looked away from Calder and to the territory. “I did not wish to be under someone else's leadership in the end.” Lucifer had once been a good boy and stayed silent. He had done his best to behave and yet that little devil on his shoulder had begged to be free. He felt the need to lead, to be himself without someone telling him how to live his life. In his moment of clarity that was not fueled by ill intent, he wondered if his dam had felt the same. In other moments, he wanted to rain hell upon the islands without anyone able to come for him again and Garmr unable to force him to stay in line. In many ways, Lucifer would be better held in a cage and forced to listen, but he no longer had that problem.


Letting his gaze fall back on Calder, Lucifer tilted his head the other direction. “What would anyone really want to be a leader for though?” His question filled the air as he pondered that too. He was answering a question with another here at this moment, but he did not care. Instead, he let himself shift his weight and step backwards as Tefnut backed with him. “If I am to honor that question with the full truth, you might want to rethink sticking on Atlantis once your stay here is no longer mandatory. I aint a good man.” For the first time in his life, Lucifer gave a warning as he stared at the pale stallion. “Do you want the truth or a glorified speech of why I should be here?”
