The stallion had been wandering the Commons for some time when the pair came across his field of vision. The Peak had issued yet another challenge for Daffodil, and another brother had answered the call to fight before he had. Something about it all infuriated the young male. He and the palomino had spent so much time together over the last year and a half. She had even carried and given birth to a child -- hischild, and for the Peak sisters to consistently come for her as if she wanted to be won sent his blood simmering.
Alioth knew that he could not stop the challenge now and could only wait for the results. So he set about a different plan that -- should Daffodil remain in the Lagoon -- would guarantee her place at his side. With this goal and an image of Daffodil and Iridium in mind, the black-spotted stallion bullied his way into the midst of their trainwreck of a conversation. He would set his sights wholely upon the other male, ready to set his teeth upon the silver-haired one should he refuse.
"Why don't we improve everyone's day and end this little fiasco?" It may have sounded like a suggestion with the matter-of-fact drawl from his lips. Yet, Alioth hardly intended to let either of them choose to go against his plans. The stallion would be coming with him to the Lagoon. It would be up to the girl to decide her own next moves. After all, he wasn't here for her. "I suggest you leave the Commons," he added, eyes set upon the maiden and her youthful beauty, "before someone decides to bring you to the Lagoon as well."
