CHARITABLE ADVERTISING on Web Site There are many worthwhile charitable causes in existence, but we can only accept sponsorship or fundraising efforts on Fusilier Association websites, that specifically support approved Fusilier charities. This essentially means that it is acceptable to use these pages to seek sponsorship for The Fusiliers Aid Society (which includes Fallen Fusiliers), and The Fusilier Memorial fund only. We now have our own dedicated justgiving site (http://www.justgiving.com/fusiliersaidsociety), which you can use to help raise money for your cause. If you let RHQ (Asst Regt Sec) know the specific cause you are raising money for, it will be directed to the correct fund. Messages soliciting sponsorship for causes or charities other than the Fusilier ones mentioned above should not be placed on the message board and may be removed by the Webmaster. Sadly, I need YET AGAIN to raise the subject of posting out of order. It will always be the case that when two people post within seconds of each other, that their posts can sometimes overlap, and thus appear on the board out of order. Their is little that can be done to overcome this little ' quirk ' in the programme. However, their are those who appear to persistently place their posts midway through an ongoing string, thus disrupting the chronology of the string. It may be of no concern to some, but unfortunately, it increases the administrative workload to get the message board programme back running correctly. Again, those who create particularly long messages, often taking several minutes to complete, are advised to PRE PREPARE a message (to be copy / pasted to the board), and once done, immediately post it at the bottom of the string, following the last post on the string. The use of Word is recommended to create pre prepared messages of length, ready to be copy / pasted to the board.
Henceforth, all messages failing to be posted in accordance with the instructions at the head of this message page will be removed without warning.
