Re(3): Confidence In Kamala Harris

Where do you get your news, Reality>? That will tell me a lot about your right leaning, anti Kamala attitudes. (Are you either a racist or a misogynist, by chance?)

We ARE out in the hinterlands of the prairie, me in the south, you on the plains.

Exactly what do you do for a living in the media? You've never said.

As I've often said, I'm a long ago retired newsman--today a writer and a political junky who moved to the south to watch his grass and grandchildren grow.

Anyone ELSE in here besides the guy who posts pornography?

And the DirtyOldMan who stares at anchorettes?

Jim's suddenly awol, (either sick, died, came to his senses and left or helping with elderly parents) a retired radio seller who hasn't been much in radio because he worked out of his house. He doesnt contribute because he doesnt know the business or the people in it, same as me.

I'm a boomer, I watch news and otherwise just watch MSNBC, Fox and network news.

My tiny Gray market totally sucks so I watch Nashville local TV even tho I live an hour away from it. My hometown now is so bad, we have 2 tv stations whose anchors sound like Fifth Graders reading in class--each with a network and they carry another network on their subcarrier. Thats all 4 networks out of two stations.

Anybody else in here? I know one person who ISN"T here. An ADMIN to give this room direction and recruit current broadcasters.

HOw come nobody from the KC market has decided to take control and provide some leadership? And discuss and lead threads ABOUT the market? Is it because there are no leaders in here? 15 years ago there were market people but they left as vagabond broadcasters do.

It can't be ME...I have no connection and so don't know much about the media today since nobody here even talks about it.

I dont even know the kc TV anchors much less the news events, again because nobody ever mentions em here and I moved 600 miles away. And I haven't listened to KC Radio for years except when I commuted to south KC and listend to Noel Heckerson talk about 9-11 that morning.

I listen now to GoodTimes Great Oldies, a great automated station. Thats when I was in radio originally. and I watch Nashville TV, the most professional market I've ever lived in, hands down, other than the NY networks, which I watch every night at 5:30 central.

They suck now, because Cable and Internet and sucked most of the air out of broadcasting advertising buyers.

Its YOUR room. Make something out of it! Anyone? ANyone?
