Ridge

Watching Rieva with his eyes holding a kinder light, Lucifer scans the mare at his side. His bright gaze takes in all of her before a soft nicker escapes his lips when she walks off. His eyes trail after her, but his frame feels something else touch it and his head turns to eye his child. The young cold at his side had eyes of diluted gold, as if they were supposed to be pure brown but had been changed in the womb. Lucifer did not know what to think of his lupine eyed child, but he did nuzzle his own spawn before his gaze flicked once more to Rieva as she spoke.


“We are on Atlantis, in the Ridge.” Lucifer said that with a bit of pride, as if this was the best conquest he had ever done in his life. Stepping out of the water, Lucifer headed to the mare once she was done rolling around. His dark muzzle lowered to her pale one as he seemed to wish to exchange breaths with her now that they were in his home. “I… needed a safer place to bring you than the Lagoon, Rieva.” Little did Lucifer really care, but he was not about to let Garmr take his prized possession out from under his nose because he failed to bring in other stallions.


Lifting his head and looking into his home, the black shire sighed a heavy breath before shaking his head. “There is one other Ridge dweller still here. I can scent him on the wind but otherwise it's just us for the time being.” Giving Rieva an actual smile, the black stallion flicked his tail. “You have a whole territory to explore now without fear of running into someone claiming you.” Lucifer would not force claim this mare as he believed deep down she was worth far more than that. Rieva, his sweet Rieva, would be the only mare he would never force claim.
