Ideally he had nearly everything he needed in life. A good, supportive, family and a nice place to call home. He was protected by the family of the Forest who also happened to be a group he called his own though they weren't personally blood tied. His grandmother had started her life on the islands in the Forest and had brought up his mother there. So it had made sense when they migrated back to the Forest as adults.

He felt his gentle grandmother every time the wind blew through the trees. She was now joined by his mother watching over their family. A small smile crosses his lips as he shakes the water from his coat. Big eyes look ahead into the commons where he would once again try for a companion. Something big has been missing from his life. He has been watching Bacardi with his herd and children. Now he would watch young Toland doing the same thing.

He yearned for something more out of life since the last time he tried the commons. Large hooves bring his body forward as he looks across the dark land. Honestly he wasn't sure what time it was, but why did love have to wait? Dagda chuckles to himself as he continues forward. The commons was pretty empty though he does spot one figure in the moonlight. "Hello," He says as he draws closer. He flips his thick forelock to the side as he looks over the beautiful young mare that now stands before him.

Dagda hadn't realized just how beautiful she was until now. Oh, boy now he was nervous. "Come here often?" He had been much more smooth when he met Hope. Oh...wait. He had awkwardly bumped into Hope at their meeting.
