GUIDELINES
common sense, really
i. the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
ii. anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
iii. adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
iv. the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
v. the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
For your sins and lackluster appearance, I change form for this eternity. (Cas)

Bubbles
mare | 15.2hhs | buckskin blanket | daughter of the sea

Staring at the soaking face of her mother, a buckskin blanket mare glares with her black rimmed ears pinned back. Her muscled haunches ached from the movements she had made, but her point had gotten across to her pale mother. Pain, heart break, and hatred coursed through the buckskin mares blood, her eyes holding an ice like coldness to them. ”You failed us. You have failed all of us by trusting that bastard in the SHORE!” Her voice rose above the cacophony of birds and their sisters. The peak was small in number, but it was not void of mares. It was sickening and made the young mares heart seize up in her chest with everlasting hatred for her mother.

“You let him LOSE! It is YOUR fault that we are homeless and stuck here in this god forsaken place.” Venom dripped from every word that Bubbles spoke. Her long black tail snapped at her hocks, validating her bleeding body with a hiss from her lips. Eyes of blue continued to stare until her beaten down mother just turned away, her pale ears tucking. Snapdragon, Bubbles’s mother, knew it was her fault. Her faith in Nahawi had lost them everything and left Finley a trinket. Nothing was the same and it never would be, as Snapdragon had lost her self confidence after the attack on her own daughter. Bubbles was not stupid, but her broken left hind quarter was a testament to the lost faith her mother had in the peak sisters. They went for Lagoon men and expected them to lie down and wait to escape. Lucifer had taught them much differently, but there were no real changes to be had either.

Shaking her head, the two toned mare snorted before turning away from her mother, her legs weaving down the trail that exited her from the toxic mares of the peak, them and the broken ones. Blinking her blue eyes once she reached the bottom, Bubbles felt tears of anger flow down her cheeks as she coughed back the choking feeling around her throat. Shoving the feelings away though, Bubbles never once looked back as her body found the nearest stretch of ocean and began to swim. It was time for her to leave anyways, or so she thought.

Days turned to weeks as Bubbles went from island to island. She had found Atlantis and had spoken to Nahawi briefly in her time leaving her home, but she did not find the answers there she wanted either. Feeling her anger grow stronger, the mare found herself landing upon Luthien one fall chilled day. Her gaze scanned the towering trees that lined the edge of the island, but she didnt say anything about them. By the scent of the wind, she figured this was the forest. It held Amarinora, a mare that Nahawi had spoken about, but she cared little. Tossing her head and shoving the deranged red dun stallions words out of her head, Bubbles turned away from the forest and walked along the ocean edge. Her large hooves moved over the sands and dense ground until finally she found a part that no longer smelt like the Forest leads.

Lifting her gaze, Bubbles pulled in another breath. She was not sure who ruled here, but the mare feared not. Instead, her long tail flicked once more as her lips opened and a resounding call escaped her lungs. She called to the lead, or anyone else here that would listen to her cry. She wanted to start over, but it was on her own terms. She did not want to be taken to Atlantis and she did not want drug to Salem. She had two islands to choose from and right now Luthien was the safest place of all in her mind.
