Was it wise of her to be in the Bay? No, not particularly. In fact, her father would probably have her head for it if he knew, which was precisely why he didn't know, and wouldn't if she were careful. Besides, she was pretty sure that the "animosity" between the Badlands and the Bay was mostly performative now, and probably nonexistent now that Fell was in the Badlands. As soon as it had become evident he wasn't going anywhere anytime fast, Synn had ducked out of the canyons as if her tail was on fire and booked it to Tinuvel.
Coming here in autumn was probably not the wisest if the chilly breeze blasting her vibrant coat was any indication, but Synn hardly noticed. Her gaze was roving across the tall pines and alien landscape, wondering if the residents ever got lost without the sun or stars to guide them. Her breath plumed in front of her with each exhale, earning a delighted giggle from the young mare. A movement nearby drew her gaze back to the trees and she turned toward it instinctively, already curious.
"Who is it?" She asked, as if she had any right to be inquiring after residents of a land not her own. "Do you happen to know where I might find snow?" That hadn't, of course, been the reason she'd come all this way, but it was pretty high up on her list of things to see while she was here.
