With everyone going on he hadn't really checked on Lorcan. Then again Lorcan had never really given him a reason to. The stallion was older, wiser even, and had two grown sons. Him and his mate kept to themselves and didn't really talk to anyone else. There was no reason for Nico to worry about them especially since Lorcan's young sons caused no trouble. So it surprises him when Lorcan suddenly appears.

Nico could tell something was off about him, but as he says he had already patrolled the rest of the border Nico believes him. His older brother has never given him a reason not to. So Nico nods turns inward with his brother. They walk side by side back towards the rest of the herd. "I hope all is well with your family Lorcan," He says. It wasn't like his brother to be without Adonia.

Lorcan nods with a smile. "All three are doing very well." He chuckles. "Just waiting to be a grandpa one day which, by the way, I hear you might be come spring." Lorcan feels Nico twitch nervously. "Ugh you heard about that too, huh? Seems Aug can't contain his excitement. " His eyes roll. "But I guess I am glad he has something to look forward to after what happened." Nico couldn't say it out loud, but he knew his brother would understand.
