Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

i'm running with the wolves tonight

Serenity slid down one of the peaks, pebbles and bits of dirt cascading down around her hooves as she did. She'd grown increasingly agile despite the Peak's uneven structure. When she'd first arrived the mountains and jutting peaks had been daunting and she'd been afraid of falling or slipping. Now she was agile like cat, unbothered by even the highest spots in the Peak. She pushes off as she nears the bottom, landing in the grass with a thud and a toss of her delicate face. She had changed since her arrival, no longer the sniveling girl Marceline had found a few years ago. Her body was still delicate and lithe, but there was corded muscle that had not been there before. Her coat had chips and indents in it where it did not heal back over small scars. Two scars stood out against her pale coat, one across her left eye and another on her crest where some hair did not grow. She wore them like a badge of honor. Despite her more dangerous appearance, Serenity was still as ethereal and angel-faced as the day she was born.

As the other young mare approached, Serenity turned to face her, a gentle smile on her face. Her mask was mostly meant for those she sought to hurt or fight, but it did not hurt to be cautious in the face of a stranger. "Of course," she nodded, casting her gaze back toward the mountains. "Welcome, stranger, to the Peak." There is pride in her voice and she takes a deep breath, before she turns back to Wynn.

"My name is Serenity, I am General here." Serenity. Just Serenity. She'd earned the spot of General by her own merit. She had cast her family aside the moment she had accepted Marceline's offer. She missed Hope, that much was true, but she had never felt like she belonged on Tinuvel. Once Mazikeen had disappeared and left her, she realized that she had no one. Her mother was busy with doting on Hope and staring at her father with that stupid, sad expression on her face. Like a kicked puppy that wanted to be pet. Here she was something of her own making. "And you?" Serenity's eyes narrow slightly, appraisingly, as she waits to see how the other mare introduces herself.
