Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Now I see fire, inside the mountain;

Only death,

could dissolve this bond;

-RYVAR-

Ryvar had hoped that the roughness of her tone and cold expression planted firmly upon her slender features would be enough to discourage the other members of the peak herd from approaching her. Hoped that for the first time, now that she truly wanted it, she might finally be left alone to wallow in her own emotions. The gods apparently had other plans.

Maybe because it was the other girl she had seen from time to time around the peaks, bouncing here and there at the heels of the spotted Minister. Maybe it was because of the ‘better than thou’ attitude that accompanied the commanding tone of her voice as the spotted girl made her approach. Either way, Ryvar is even less pleased than normal and that shows in the firm press of her lips as her dark eyes glitter with renewed anger. ”I can talk to you however I want little princess...” she snarls, spitting the final word with disdain. Who even wanted to be a princess anyway? All they did was sit up in towers and wait for their prince charming to come save them. They sure as hell didn’t belong in the mountain peaks with the rest of the warrior women.

She scoffs, her growing black tail switching irritably against her fuzzy haunches. ”Obviously you can’t make me, princesses don’t know how to do ANYTHING for themselves.” she taunts. Of course, Ryvar doesn't know this for sure, but she damn sure wasn't about to apologize to a girl no older than herself.

With a dismissive snort, Ryvar stiffens her legs and proceeds to brush past the girl with a pointed shove of her shoulder as she climbs higher up the rocky hillside. ”Hurry back to your tower now, wouldn’t want you to forget your way.” she purrs, flicking her tail dismissively. The last thing she needed was this girl, the one that she had always watched from a distance with hope of befriending, treating her like the trash she already felt like. This day was just shaping up to be perfect. So much for soothing her sour mood. Maybe the mountains weren’t as lonely as mother proclaimed she thought with an exasperated sigh.
