LUCIFER stallion | 18hhs | black | Faithless Demon
Filled with pain and frustration, Lucifer was working on losing his patience. His red eyes were twisted tightly closed as he bit at his cheek, not wanting any sounds to escape his lips. He had never once felt pain like this before, but with his tendon having been ruined, the black beast was most likely as good as dead. He would struggle to heal and grow stronger. Lucifer, a stallion that had never once truly felt fear, felt its inky fingers begin to drag into his gut and try to rip everything apart and take control of him. He was unsure of this emotion, but he shoved it back farther and farther until his red eyes held a murky lens that was anger fueled.
Looking straight ahead, Lucifer heard hoof steps coming his way. Flicking a black ear forward and forcing himself to stand strong, the black beast no longer showed his pain in his walk when Annubis came out of the brush. His crimson gaze took in the silver lead, but nothing upon his face said what he was thinking. An ear flicked towards the birds that sung above them, but other than that he looked like a brick wall that would not move. Annubis’s words did not rile him up more than he already was, but he knew they should have. Something should be stirring his anger other than pain, but he could not even digest every other thing running through his mind without getting indigestion.
Chewing on his tongue for a second, Lucifer let the taste of copper fill his mouth before he opened his mouth with his teeth on display. “I have come on my own, Annubis. You don’t know if I have a family or not.” Lucifer had not spoken on having a family, hadn't hinted at it even when he challenged for second. For all anyone knew, he was just roaming around the islands causing chaos other than now he had publicly shown he lived in Paradise. He held not a single worry about others coming for him, but deep in his mind a seed of doubt began to grow. Rieva could be in danger. Chimney, Ceyx, and Tefnut could be in danger. His small herd could be in so much danger because he had left them to do this, but he knew it had to be completed before he dared drag Rieva anywhere.
With his lips closing back up though, Lucifer stood stock still with his eyes latched onto the Paradise king. Lucifer would rather not be here, under the liability of someones whim, but here he stood. He would heal, grow his family, and decide steps for something else later. For now though, the black draft narrowed his eyes a faint bit as his head then tilted. “Mind showing me what part of this territory I get to work on?” Lucifer would work more if at all needed just to be the ‘good boy’ he needed to be at the start of this… journey.
