The stallion's call made his body grow stiff as his neck snapped to the direction of the sound. He did not recognize the voice of the stallion which made him nervous. It has been a while since anyone unknown has showed up in the Inlet, but he knew it was enviable after his rouge challenges for mares. Champagne colored legs begin to take him towards the call with speed.

It becomes clear that this stallion did not come from one of the neighboring territories as he recognizes the sea laid behind this part of the Forest. This only causes him to push his legs to move faster. Especially when he could smell Yasmina's scent already in the area. The mare was like their own personal guard dog. Attack first and ask questions later. It wasn't exactly the way he conducted business and creating unnecessary enemies was not something he dreamed of.

Nico finds them rather quickly as no one else from the herd really frequented these parts but himself. Just as he thought, Yasmina stood guarding the Inlet with her body positioned in between the stranger and further inland. Her stare told him everything he needed to know about the situation. Yasmina was never keen to stranger's and this one was no different. Nothing he has said yet has relaxed her stance, but she also was not attacking.

Nico thinks that this means the stallion was not here for a fight. "Stand down. I got this," He says as he takes one step in front of his wolf-eyed neice and the intruder. Nico had his head raised boldly with his chest slightly put to show this stallion that he was the boss around these parts. Yasmina takes a few steps back, but she stays close with her gaze still peering around Nico onto the stallion.

"My name is Nicodemus de Solomon, owner of this part of Tinuvel. What is it that brings you to us?" He would apologize for Yasmina's behavior later. First, he needed a few questions answers to gauge just what this stallion's intentions were.
