Music's changed into so many, what I'd call incompatible genres, I can't imaging one station being able to provide a consistent sound. Rap and whatever the minority or wannabe minority kids listen to is just too different from the tastes of maintream whites. And chicks surely dont like metal and metalheads surely don't like chick music.
The only solution is to quit listening to the limited OTA musicboxes and rent the music which isn't expensive on the internet, or buy it digitally and store it on your devices.
The music sellers just dont' need radio to demonstrate their wares. I did that briefly 50 years ago but gave all those promotional records to my daughter who still has a turntable. I went digital a long time ago. Records, tapes and CD's are just too cumbersome. Itunes was good until they screwed it up; they dont want you making or saving your own digital library anymore. I still like the oldies but I already have em all and what I don't is on YouTube or i heart. We listen to Iheart and kc radio play by play when we can't get the chiefs>
Wife likes to listen to bz's talk when I remind her we have it on iheart.
Well time to go, the grandboys and our son are coming over....grandmas in Europe so we just had a long talk and I gave her a video tour of the house to show her how I've been keeping the house clean. When ya got family a long ways a way, ya talk on FACETIME thats free abt every day. She kept up on the shootings fm yesterday and will be home after Sundays chiefs game. How bout them chiefs anyway??
I like war movies, do you have Prime and Netflix? I binge watched "THE UNIT" which was 4 seasons. Great stuff. I'll be talkin army slang for awhile, after 50 episodes! Roger that! Replies:
