Gents we were doing approaches at Richmond at that time with 5Sqn helicopter and heard the MAYDAY call from the C141.He had no idea where he was, due to smoke in the aircraft.The engine exploded throwing turbine blades into the cargo and other engine. The load was on fire so the loadie was flat out. We talked him around the circuit and followed him down finals incase we were needed for a medivac.It got the blood pumping.Cheers Replies:
