A mother's love is saying 'I told you so' Posted on January 27, 2025 at 01:59:32 PM by Raini & Tino
The colt keep his eyes on Nico as he spoke, he felt somewhat drawn to this stallion but he didn't understand why. Perhaps it was because his whole life it just been him and his mother.
Giving the stallion an odd look the youngster spoke I definately don't want children he said, the horror of it in his voice, just like any colt his age he showed no interest in the females yet.
His mother simply laughed at the colt, knowing that with time and age, those feelings would change. She nodded with a knowing look when Nico spoke of others around Tino's age, this was what he needed. Others to play with and learn from, something he had lacked in his life.
The colt pick his head up, ear flicked forward in interest at the sounds of others around his age to play with.
Raini spoke then. I think your home and herd sound exactly like what Tino needs. Others to play with and grow up. He eyes glimmered with a hint of pain I failed to give him that the guilt ate at her, having not realised this until now.
Pushing those feelings deep down she turned to Nico I think your home sounds lovely and perfect for what we need, if you'll still have us? she asked, a mixture of hope and weariness in her mind, she glanced back to her son who was nodding enthusiastically, he could still change his mind after all.
