Drakon
Drakon was quiet as he emerged onto the Crossing’s shore. His honey brown eyes a little more skeptical of his surroundings than his brother’s fierce green gaze. It was finally his turn to make the swim, although he had insisted that they didn’t have to take turns. Drakon would have been just fine staying home while Zion had gone to explore. Still, Zion had thought it best that Drakon have some idea of the world than their ice rock.
Giving a soft sigh, Drakon shook himself off before venturing further inland. He supposed he could walk around for a while to make his brother happy before returning home. But as he approached the Commons, he hadn’t expected to see anyone, much less her. Wow, she was pretty. Drakon had plenty of white on his body, but he had never seen anyone the same color as a fresh blanket of snow. But she wasn’t alone, and the dark stallion sharing a moment with her kept him from approaching. Zion would have marched over with a challenge, but Drakon wasn’t so fierce. Instead, he was left stunned as the stallion moved away, leaving the mare alone.
Giving a hard swallow to keep his bundled nerves from rising, Drakon walked over, offering the stranger a smile. “Hi.” He greeted. “My name is Drakon. Are you from around here….?” He trailed off, wondering if she would give her name in place of his question.
