The steel of a sword only punctures if the owner wills it.

Rolling her eyes with her tail lashing, Yaga tuned out the mare. Her head looked over her shoulder until she saw her catching up and looked forward again. Muscles flexed against her haunches as she pushed up, coming from the pebble beach into the forest. Some spots had the dirt falling away with the tide, like this one. It was a small leap, but she handled it just fine before moving forward. It was all a test for her, learning this place and being comfortable. It would be something she learned, but at the moment she had other things to think about.

Listening with one ear back, Yaga just snorted. “No. I don’t care what you do. Just don’t bring your problems to my doorstep other than the one you ran from.” Looking over her shoulder again, yaga raised a brow before moving towards the center of her home. Her herd was two strong, but that was just fine for her. Flicking an ear back to keep track of the mare and then one forward to listen, Yaga led the way until she got them to a safer location than the beach.

Turning to face this pain in her ass, Yaga sighed. “For now, just get comfortable. It's easier to know where you are and what you are in before doing things. This territory is vast with neighbors. Please do not go and cause any issues with them. I need alliances.” For starters, she needed her neighbors to be good allies. After the savannah and prairie, she would head to the thicket. It would be a while in the making, but anything was better than nothing at this point.
