Excitement begins to pump his veins full of adrenaline. She was just the type to challenge him and he was ready for it. He was made correct with the way she rejected him. Stated she would not be leaving with him through her comment. He only grins, especially as she mentions the Peak. She then mentions her 'word' that he would send any of her lasses seeking a home her way. He laughs abruptly before adding his own sly comment. "You think the Peak can save you now?"
He advances towards her with a grin so crooked someone may think he was crazied. "Don't worry I'm not going to use you to bear children or anything." He chuckles, words slowly forming with each step. "You just need to stand there and look pretty for a little while. Then I'll let you go on your marry way." Why else would he need her? He didn't need tiny babies running around to remind him of those stupid memories. The stories his father used to tell and cry.
"Unless you learn to like me that is." He laughs, stopping himself next to her with a swift nip to her side in attempts to herd her away. If she protested any further it would result in some serious foul play by himself. Kicking, biting, whatever he must do to get her home.
