Faye
The golden stallion inches closer….and closer, and Faye can feel her heartrate rise. Her black trim nose flares, but not to greedily drink in his scent as he was clearly doing to her. She snorts at him, clearly displeased, but tries to hold her ground as long as she possibly could. He couldn’t get any closer; she wouldn’t allow him the opportunity to try and lay a claiming bite on her flesh. Even if he didn’t have the athority to keep her, Faye had a sneaking suspicion he might try to anyways.
“I think you intend to bother me no matter what my answer is.” She accuses, taking a definite step back. Black tail snapping at one flank, then the other, Faye decides she’s had enough for now. There was no doubt in her mind he might try to chase her, but she has spent her whole life slipping away unnoticed. Faye doubted he’d ever had to hide a day in his golden life.
Without any warning, Faye pivots on her hind legs and leaps into the vegetation like a spooked deer. She doesn’t look back, only quickly puts distance between her and the first that had found her.
